High Angle, High Altitude Long Range Shooting at The Mountain Shooting Center

Join us on a fully immersive High Altitude, High Angle, Long Range Shooting Adventure. This intermediate/advanced school is only for 10 students that will experience the very best in real world scenario mountain shooting. This course is typically only available to specialized military units and for the first time it will be available exclusively to 10 Sanctum 1791 members. This will be an amazing bonding experience for the group as we will be moving start to finish as one unit. The experience is fully immersive lasting three full days and nights. We will all be camping at altitude (6800′) and the very best part will be the fireside talks after each day of shooting making this a trip like none other.

The Mountain Shooting Center Instructors will help improve your shooting and or hunting skills in realistic situations. You will learn the effects that ballistics and the environment (elevation, wind(s) & temperature) have on your accuracy and ammunition, and how to compensate for those effects.

Our ranges are situated on 100,000 acres, starting at 6,500’ ASL and topping out at 9,400’ ASL.  Freedom of movement is offered throughout the cantonment area and replicates areas and environments that you may encounter throughout the world.

Our MSC Instructors will help improve your shooting and/or hunting skills in realistic situations out to 600 yards/meters. You will learn the effects that the meteorological environment (temperature, barometric pressure, humidity and wind) have on the performance of your ammunition and how to negotiate them. Our steep angle, high altitude ranges are situated throughout the MSC and will expose you to real world situations that other ranges do not offer. Going on a Elk, Moose or Marco Polo hunt? You’ll be glad that you attended the MSC first.

*Different types of winds;
*Indicators;

*Shooting distances out to 2500 meters and beyond. The only limitation is the weapon caliber and optic choice.

This course is designated for Military Personnel and will only be offered to Sanctum 1791 Members exclusively!

The day prior to departure we will meet at Sanctum 1791 and confirm zero on our weapons and go over the gear checklist one last time. We will fly from Wilmington to Salt Lake City, Utah as a group where we will rent vehicles and make our way to Antimony, Utah. We will be including our “Flying with a weapon” class at no additional cost. The cost is $2000 for the school and all travel costs will be separate. Meals will be provided while in camp and travel will be arranged by Sanctum 1791. This is the fully immersive experience that you’ve always wanted, but have never been available until now.
